Lately Dakota is determined to let everyone know that she is three. Anytime she is asked "How old are you?" She responds with a very enthusiastic, "Three!" while she struggles to hold up those three fingers to emphasize her point. Every time I correct her and tell her that she is only two she smiles at me and laughs, "No, mom."
The first picture above is classic because right before I took the picture I asked her, "How old are you Dakota?"
The picture just proves her confusion. Notice on one hand she is holding up three fingers and the other two?
Yes, that's our sweet Dakota. She is really wanting to grow up these days but still isn't really talking all that much- only using words proven to be important to her, and Mom is definitely one of those well-used words. :)
