Yesterday we met Papa at the airport as he arrived from a 2 month long stay in Haiti! He was pretty much surrounded by all of his grand kids the entire time. They were all so excited to see him and we were so proud of the work that he accomplished in Haiti and especially the orphans that he looked over to protect and match families to in the states. Caitlyn, on her own, remembered to pray for him multiple times daily, so this seemed especially significant for her.

He had quite the welcoming party with a newspaper photographer as well as the local news.

These girls are newly sisters. The girl on the right was an orphan that just came to the states last week. She was an orphan that Papa helped watch over in Haiti until she made it safely to the U.S. It was so precious. When she saw him in the airport, she ran over to hug him and she had tears running down her cheeks.

Waiting for luggage.

Cailtyn holding Papa's hand, and of course, Papa being interviewed for the local news. All of the kiddos made it on the news and when we showed them they were so excited. Well, everyone but Dakota, but she could pretty much care less and was very unsure of everything
that was going on.

All the kiddos patiently waiting...

We are so glad that Papa is home and can't wait to hear more about his incredible journey in Haiti! We love Papa and are thankful for the legacy he is leaving behind to his grand children! I hope we can remain friends to some of the kids he helped bring back as well. What an incredible testimony
"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."
